ALL ABOUT New Zealand

New Zealand is an island nation located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, made up of two main islands (North Island and South Island) plus Stewart Island and hundreds of smaller islands. Known as Aotearoa in Māori, New Zealand is famous for its stunning landscapes, unique wildlife, and being one of the world's greenest countries. This land of mountains, fjords, and rolling hills has become a global leader in environmental protection and sustainable living.

RESIDENTS
Population: About 5.3 million people live across New Zealand's islands, with most living on the North Island.

LANGUAGES
English (de facto official), Māori, and New Zealand Sign Language are the three official languages.

INDUSTRY
Tourism, agriculture (especially dairy farming), and film production are major industries. New Zealand is also known for its renewable energy, with about 80-87% of electricity coming from clean sources like hydroelectric, geothermal, and wind power.
