From Kyiv’s thousand-year-old cathedrals to the natural cooling systems of ancient cave monasteries, from dolphin rescue teams on the Black Sea to rewilding projects on the Ukrainian steppe, this story blends science, heritage, and adventure in a way young readers can understand and enjoy.

Developed by the SUNx Institute in collaboration with a Ukrainian Chapter Leader, this book offers children aged 6–10 an engaging introduction to Climate Friendly Travel, sustainability, and cultural preservation—even in the face of adversity.
