STORY TIME
We haven't been to Canada yet, but we would love to see Dodo explore the huge wild areas with tall mountains! He could paddle in clear lakes and learn why everyone loves maple syrup (a sweet liquid that comes from trees)! Canada has amazing nature, friendly people, and cool animals like polar bears and moose. Dodo would feel like he's in the world's best outdoor playground!

ALL ABOUT Canada

Canada is the second biggest country in the whole world! It goes from one ocean to another ocean to the cold Arctic Ocean way up north. Canada is famous for being super beautiful - it has tall Rocky Mountains, lots of forests, sparkly lakes, and the Northern Lights (colorful lights that dance in the sky at night).
This amazing country has friendly people, incredible wild animals, and cities where people live in a modern way but still take care of nature. Canada has some big challenges like climate change (when the Earth gets warmer), keeping its huge wilderness safe, and making sure everyone has clean energy for the future.

RESIDENTS
About 41 million people live in Canada. That's like having everyone from California plus 10 million more people! Canada welcomes people from all over the world to come live there.
LANGUAGES
People in Canada speak English and French - these are the two main languages. But you can also hear over 200 different languages from around the world! Plus, there are over 70 Indigenous languages (languages from people whose families lived there first) like Cree, Inuktitut, and Ojibwe. These languages have been spoken on this land for thousands and thousands of years!

INDUSTRY
Canada is famous for things that come from nature like trees, rocks with valuable metals inside (minerals), and clean energy! They make things like wood for building houses, paper, computers, and equipment that makes clean electricity. Many big companies choose Canada because the workers are really good at their jobs and the environment is clean! People also still do traditional jobs like farming, fishing, and making maple syrup.
